Soooooooooooo yea. This post is longggg overdue, especially because there’s been so many different things happening in LA and I got here roughly a month and a half ago. Because LA time is so different, there has been so many different events, parties, and random stuff going on, and it feels like I’ve been here a lot longer – which is a cool feeling.
Jumping into what’s been going on, especially with this re-cap post of my life…well, there’s been a lot to say the least.

First off, when it comes to music, I’ve released so many new tracks it’s insane. Usually I like to embed the player into this post, but because it’s been so many songs, I’m just going to list all the tracks I’ve recently released. Feel free to click any track that you wanna check out, as there really is so many haha.
Recent tracks: Masshole EP, San Junipero, Party Till The Daylight (Remix), Ocho Cinco (Remix), Heroes Tonight (Remix), Let Go (Remix), PS GFY (Remix), Right Here (Remix), Livin’, Signal (Remix) and Shake.
…yea, it’s definitely a ton of tracks, and each one ranges from different genres in EDM, so feel free to check out a few (or them all!). In addition to all of that, I also released a new glitch hop/future funk DJ Mix, blending my own and a ton of different glitchy and funky tracks together.
With all the music that I’ve been releasing I’ve also been doing a lot more Song Explanation Videos. What I do for each video is give you a peak inside my Ableton projects where I demonstrate why I made each track the way I did and the technicalities of each project file. I’ve been getting a lot of positive responses from those videos, so definitely check them out and let me know what you think!
Speaking of YouTube, I definitely wanna give a huge shoutout to everyone who’s watched and supported my videos. It’s insane how quickly my channel is starting to blow up, and the craziest part is that most of the traffic I’m getting is organic.
Roughly a week ago, on March 1st, I got 19,000 hits on all my content (blog posts, videos and music), which is incredible. It’s pretty crazy to think that in 2014, when I was doing The Light Nearby Tour, I got roughly the same amount of hits for the entire year. Pretty Awesome.
Now switching gears from online to offline, it feels so good to be back in LA again. Obviously, LA has the best events that are happening all the time, which makes life way more enjoyable. Right when I got back I went to Space Yacht at Sound Nightclub, which is an insane event that happens every Tuesday. Here is a mini video of that:

Right after I got to LA too I also started training again, as even though I workout a ton, I definitely workout way harder in LA than anywhere else. Here are a few pictures and videos of me working out:

That last video above is actually me doing a 90 Degree Push-Up, which is when you go from a Handstand into a Planche, then back into a Handstand. What’s even crazier is that the first time I did one, which is on video, I was wearing a 12lb weighted vest. Without question, using the weighted vest for Planche training has definitely helped increase my strength tremendously.
Jumping back to all the events and interesting stories, I also got featured on Pat Flynn’s Podcast. He was doing one about people who struggled and went from nothing to something, and it’s amazing that he featured my story as I’ve always looked up to him and his work.

^That collage of pictures was all in one day – it was a pretty epic day to say the least. I got featured on the podcast, cracked over half a million views on YouTube, had my track Bass Fire get reposted on big YouTube Music Channels where I got tons of awesome comments, and had people saying that they loved my Pandora station.
Later on that night (this is in the same day haha), I went to Exchange for Wax Motif. It was an unreal show, as Exchange is always crazy:

The very next week, a pretty epic moment happened: The Patriots won the Super Bowl, in arguably the greatest comeback in sports history. Regardless of your viewpoint, it’s incredible what Brady and his team did.
What’s pretty awesome too is that the track I wrote about the Patriots became the #1 song on iTunes under the New England Patriots:

The next week I got invited to Sammy Shore’s birthday – he made The Comedy Store what it is today and he’s also Pauly’s Shore’s father. I got to watch and interact with some of my favorite comedians such as Ralphie May, Anthony Jeselnik and Chris D’Ella. Here was a couple pictures that I got with Sammy Shore:

The next week was pretty insane, as I got invited to Summit.Live, which is the largest Live Streaming conference in the world. While I was there I got connected with Anker, that makes unreal cell phone accessories. Here is a huge package they hooked me up with, I had to give them a huge shoutout for this:

Later on that week I ended up getting invited to both The LAB MixMag and Exchange again, this time to see Oliver Heldens and Ghastly. It was a crazy night as we started partying around 6/7 and didn’t stop until the early morning, such a good time:

Later on that weekend I ended up trying Virtual Reality for the first time – and I’m talking true Virtual Reality. Here is a video of my reaction:
Afterwards, I ended up having my first VR Hangover. I described it a lot more in-depth in my blog post, but I felt really out of it, almost like I was drugged. It’s crazy to think what will happen with VR in the future, as it’s only going to get more realistic and mimic reality a lot more accurately.
Now the very next week was just as crazy, as I went to The LAB MixMiag event again, this time to see Mat Zo and M Machine. It was an insane night, yet not as crazy as other parties because I was getting ready for that weekend. Here’s what The LAB looks like, as I did a mini video tour:

The next day I drove to San Diego for the CRSSD Festival, which was an unreal weekend. I filmed a ton of videos in my hotel room, one of them being a live, unedited bodyweight workout I did. Even though I partied a ton, it’s still really important to get a ton of work done and really look at every event and situation as an opportunity to make yourself grow (and it also gives you more content!).
Here is a mini re-cap video I did of CRSSD Festival, and these videos are from day 2 when it was me and a bunch of people partying together:

It’s crazy to think that I’ve only been in LA a month and a week or so and it’s already been out of control. Literally, every day I wake up and start working and the next thing I know it’s 1am and I’m like damn it…I have so much stuff to finish up. Even now, I’m finishing this post up at 9pm and I still have an astronomical amount of work with editing videos, doing some marketing, and finishing up new tracks.
Nonetheless, one thing I can say for sure is: LA is pretty Buck.
