OWSLA

A Crazy Two Months

Usually I like to do this recap posts every month, but I’ve been so incredibly busy I wasn’t able to get to it until now. The past two months have been crazy, and the amount of things to recap on is insane, so I’ll have to keep this post as brief as possible (for length purposes).

Now a few months ago I mentioned that I wasn’t producing as much as I normally have…that all changed. In the past two months I’ve released 14 new tracks – a blend of originals and remixes. Normally I embed them in this post, but because there are too many, here is the full list of my most recent releases. You can click on any of them to instantly listen:

• Stoop Kid
• Laidback Luke & Made in June – Paradise (feat. Bright Lights) [Freccero Remix]
• 4th of July (Independence Day)
• Kyroman & Jounce – Get Up (Freccero Remix)
• Dillon Francis – Say Less (feat. G-Eazy) [Freccero Remix]
• Jim Jefferies
• Moana [Version by Alessia Cara] – How Far I’ll Go (Freccero Remix)
• Teez (طيز)
• SnapChat Hot Dog
• Super8 & Tab – Falling Into You (Freccero Remix)
• 100
• ATLiens – Alchemy (Freccero Remix)
• Pokémon – Pallet Town (Freccero Remix)
• Rain Man & MAX – Do You Still Feel (Freccero Remix)

In addition to that, I also released my first music video, which I did about the SnapChat Hot Dog. Being honest, it’s probably the worst music video of all time (and most likely the lowest budget), but I guess that suits how ridiculous the Hot Dog filter is anyway.

Now I last left off when I was flying back to LA from Boston. Right when I got back here I only had a couple days to relax, as then I was off to Vegas for EDC. It was an unreal weekend, too much to recap for this post. If you want the full story, you can watch my video of the full recap, or watch Day 0, Day 1, Day 2, or Day 3.

After EDC I finally started working out again. I find that when I go home I don’t workout as much as I normally do, just given the fact that I don’t have a gym and I’m usually bouncing around seeing people. Finally, after a few years of working, I did my first ever Planche Push-up. I’m not planning on posting a video, however, until I truly feel it’s up to par with what I want it to look like.

I have been working a bit more on my breakdancing skills actually, in addition to more bodyweight fitness moves. Here’s a couple videos:

In addition to everything else I’ve been doing, I’ve also been starting to attend more events. Especially with my YouTube Channel really starting to get a lot of traffic, I’m now starting to leverage it to get press passes, VIP, behind the scenes, and more for various events going on around LA (and other areas).

I’ve also started a new Adventure & Event Recap section on my channel, where I post videos of my experience. So roughly a week after I got back I ended up attending the world premiere of The House, a new movie with Will Ferrell, which was absolutely hilarious.

A few days after I ended up getting a cool message from someone on Facebook. Turns out, tons of oil drillers in Colorado are listening to my music and DJ Mixes while drilling for oil. It’s always interesting to find out who’s listening to your music, especially in some unexpected places.

Speaking of DJ Mixes, I also filmed my first ever live recording of me DJing. I’ve done live recordings before, but never on video, and I figured to make a summer mix blending my tracks with other artists. Check it out here:

Taking a quick side note, I’ve recently been sponsored by the company Nutramax for Avmacol. It’s a sulforaphane supplement, which has numerous different physiological and psychological benefits. I’ve done a full Avmacol Review post, and I’m starting to take it every day now as I significantly notice the benefits.

Jumping back into story time, I then got invited to Spire 73, which is the highest open air bar in the western hemisphere. It was crazy how high up it is, as you’re on the 73rd story (hence the name). It was so high that there were helicopters flying at roughly eye level, which was pretty weird to see that close.

Next, I ended up seeing Paul Oakenfold, the legendary trance DJ, perform at Sound in Focus. As expected, he absolutely killed it with his set, blending his old school trance tracks with new school electro and house tracks. Here was a mini video I took from the event:

Next, I recently started a new series on my YouTube Channel called #ASKFRECCERO, as I’m starting to get sent so many messages and comments asking me questions. I’ve already posted everything from health, to Music Labels, to Uber & Lyft, to my Personal Life, and more. If you have a question, feel free to submit it!

There’s been a lot of big things happening with my channel lately too, as I just passed 1.5 million hits on all my videos. I’m rapidly starting to get more hits every day, which makes it a lot easier to film more videos and make them more creative (like I was talking about earlier in this post). In addition, I’ve also started doing gaming videos on YouTube, as they have a high ROI in addition to being good platforms for promoting electronic music.

Now with all that going on, a couple weeks ago I ended up going to the Comedy Store Pot Luck – where every Monday night they have comedians do 4-minute long routines. It was pretty funny and interesting, as I ended up meeting a few different famous comedians, in addition to laughing like crazy from all the routines.

Later on in that week I was a part of the audience of Bill Nye Saves the World, because he’s coming out with a new season on Netflix. For legal reasons, I can’t really say more than that, but I can say there’s a good chance I’ll be in that episode.

That upcoming weekend I attended OWSLA’s Chinatown Summer Nights party, which featured a bunch of amazing house DJs and great vibes. OWSLA is Skrillex’s label, and they always put on a good party and have crazy events.

Then, later on last week, I attended Conan O’Brien’s show, and Bryan Cranston ended up being one of the special guests (which was awesome). I’ve been going to so many different events, shows parties, and more, that I’ve had to start writing down everything so I can remember it all.

In addition to everything else that I wrote, life has been amazing and there has been a tremendous amount that I’ve been planning and working on. There’s so many different projects and things I’m working on, and I seriously can’t wait for the future.
