Damn…so there’s a been a ton of stuff going on, and even more coming up. I’ve been talking about it for a few months now since I finished The Light Nearby, but now I can finally say that my next album, Slapbet EP, is almost here. It’s going to be a 3-song EP that has a blend of Buckstep along with Buckahton.
In the mean time, I decided to release 2 Bootlegs/Remixes, all ranging from different styles. If you haven’t heard them yet, here they are:
Pump This (Freccero Bootleg) – Genre: Vomitbahton
Pallet Town (Freccero Remix) – Genre: Future Trap’emon
In addition, I finished up a track with the extremely talented THA CAPITAL G about Yoga Pants, which also should be released within the next month.
Switching gears a bit, I definitely have to give a few shout outs. When I was traveling around making The Light Nearby, I stopped in Austin, TX, and met an entrepreneur named Gabe. He served our country, came back, and then hustled to start a fitness gym. It’s finally complete, and it’s called Hero Way Strength and Conditioning. If you’re ever in Austin, check out their gym in Leander (roughly 20 minutes north of Austin).
Continuing along with entrepreneurs, one of my good friends Sid – who I mentioned in my post about his blog The Fireside Chats – moved to Washington DC to work as a Project Lead for Calvert Funds. He’s doing an incredible job, as his position is a unique blend of entrepreneurship and social impact. On his blog, he posted an interview that was conducted of him, and it’s an awesome interview about how he started out in a cooperate job and then eventually moved to doing something he loved. Check it out here: Breaking Into Social Impact.
Next, on a random note, last week in Boston there was a crazy hailstorm (I don’t know how else to bring this up):

Also, with random news, I was out at a bar with friends one night last week and decided to try the cliche pick up line from How I Met Your Mother. (Random side note: In case you haven’t yet, check out the Alternate ending here: How I Met Your Mother Alternate Ending). In the show, one of the random lines Barney (Neil Patrick Harris) says is “Haveeeeeeee you met [insert name]?” and then introduces a friend. It worked pretty well, as I did it to wing one of my friends, so that experiment proved successful.
The very next day me and a bunch of friends decided to have a mini rager in our driveway in Boston that we called Festival Freccero. The main picture used for this post was from the Instagram video, hence the blurry quality. Here was just the start of it, as it got even better as the day went on:

Later that night I was doing some work and decided to order Chinese food, and got the best fortune cookie I’ve ever gotten. Such an awesome quote:
After a crazy couple weeks, I met up with one of my friends at Wellesley College to catch up, and I ended up having a cliche college breakfast this morning – which was pretty nostalgic.
There’s a lot of big plans I have coming up, and a lot of things I haven’t mentioned yet, and the future is even getting more exciting. Now I’m about to do a dope bodyweight workout (check out my workouts here if you haven’t yet: Bodyweight Workouts), and then continue getting buck.
Life is about to get a lot more insane.
