10 Irish Songs you NEED for an epic St. Patrick’s Day

It’s Saint Patrick’s Day…everyone’s Irish tonight. With St. Patrick’s Day being a gigantic blend of partying, culture, Jameson, Guinness, and more, it would only be suitable to have some epic anthems for the day.

Here are 10 Irish/Celtic songs that you NEED for an epic St. Patrick’s Day! These range in styles and genres, but one thing is certain: They’re perfect when havin’ a pint.

Note: Get Buck Responsibly.

1. St. Patrick’s Day by Freccero

This is a track that I made for St. Patrick’s Day – it’s a blend of Celtic music along with house music. It’s an upbeat Irish banger featuring pan flutes, Irish fiddles, Mandolins, and everything Irish.

2. I’m Shipping Up To Boston by Dropkick Murphys

No St. Patrick’s Day list would be complete without I’m Shipping Up To Boston. It’s arguably one of the best pump up anthems ever.

3. Drunken Lullabies by Flogging Molly

Drunk Lullabies is an incredibly catchy tune with the Irish vibe strong at heart. Flogging Molly is an iconic Irish band, and no list would be complete without them.

4. The Blood Of Cu Chulainn by Jeff Danna & Mychael Danna

The Blood of Cu Chulainn is the theme of the movie Boondock Saints (which you should have seen by now!). As oppose to other songs on this list, this is just straight instrumental, but an uplifting melody to raise a glass to.

5. The Irish Rover (feat. The Dubliners) by The Pogues

While a lot of tracks on this list contain Irish elements with Rock, Electronic, and other genres, The Irish Rover is just a classic Celtic song.

6. Whiskey In The Jar by The Dubliners

Easily one of the best songs to drink Whiskey to – enough said.

7. Last of the Wilds by Nightwish

Nightwish is a symphonic rock band, and their track Last of the Wilds is an epic Celtic Rock anthem. Complete with a catchy melody, epic guitar solos, and more – this is one instrumental that doesn’t need any words.

8. An Irish Pub Song by The Rumjacks

Hence the title, this song makes me picture being in an Irish bar while clanking pints with someone next to me.

9. I Useta Lover by The Saw Doctors

This is classic in Ireland, and absolutely must for your St. Patrick’s Day playlist.

10. Kiss Me I’m Shitfaced by Dropkick Murphys

I had to include Dropkick Murphys one more time on this list. This is an epic track, with a pretty relatable message.
