5 Creative Flasks

No Comments Events

Here are five creative and unique flasks for containing alcohol (or any liquid) and transporting it. Each one of these flasks is pretty creative in nature, especially how it can safely hide liquids without anyone knowing.

Note: Make sure to drink responsibility when using these!

1. Flask Tie

Flask Tie is definitely my favorite one on this list. The picture for this blog is me wearing it, as I’ve used Flask Tie many times in numerous occasions. The Flask Tie can hold 6oz of liquid (roughly 5-6 shots) and is drank similar to a Camelbak where the straw has a rubber end that you bite and suck.

Some of these flasks are more for containing alcohol but not for drinking out of it. The Flask Tie does both where you can easily contain it and also drink directly from it. Yes, it looks weird drinking from a tie, but after using it numerous times I haven’t had someone come up to me and ask what I’m doing. The best part about Flask Tie is that the tie itself is actually really good, so even after you drink from it you can just wear it (as oppose to a regular flask where, after finishing, you have to walk around with it).

Here are a couple videos about Flask Tie – the first one is a review of it, and the second one is the “Flask Tie Challenge” where I prepare and use the Flask Tie in a real situation.

2. Sunscreen Flask

This flask works perfectly for the summer at the beach. This sunscreen flask, located on the left, contains 2 bottles that each hold 8oz (roughly 7-8 shots). Unlike the Flask Tie, however, I would suggest NOT drinking out of the sunscreen bottle. I hope this would go without saying, but your goal is to attract the least amount of attention when concealing alcohol. This is why I find that the Sunscreen Flask is good to transport alcohol and then put it in another cup.

Another benefit of the Sunscreen Flask is that it looks like actual Sunscreen. With most flasks, even the creative ones, you can clearly see that something looks weird when inspecting it. The Sunscreen Flasks however look normal even after careful inspection. The only way that someone could notice is if you are pouring liquid from the flask or they take the cap off and smell it.

3. Buckle Flask

This was one of the best rated flasks that I’ve seen all over the internet. The buckle flask is extremely bittersweet because it can only hold 3oz of liquid (2-3 shots), at the same time it’s something you would wear normally. Similar to the Flask Tie, after you drink everything you don’t have hang onto it, because you would be wearing it anyway. I personally prefer the buckle flask however because sometimes I’ll take a tie off, but I won’t take my belt off until the end of the night.

I also feel that the Buckle Flask is the least likely to be found when it comes to clothing items, because even though the Flask Tie is discrete, if someone pats you down (like most clubs) they will feel the liquid, which will definitely attract attention. With the buckle however they probably won’t even notice (especially because they, most likely, won’t pat down that area).

4. Freedom Flask

The Freedom Flask is similar to a thin fanny pack that hides under your clothes. The Freedom Flask has extremely high reviews and has even been featured on NBC New York. In addition, the Freedom Flask by a long shot contains the most alcohol at a whopping 32oz. It’s also made leakproof so nothing spills out and easily raps around your waist via a strap.

The Freedom Flask is perfect for people going to day-long events, especially if you’re with a lot of people. 32oz is a ton of liquid, and even more so regarding alcohol. The other thing I like about Freedom Flask is that it’s not a hard material, so you can crumple it up and put it in your pocket after it’s done.

5. NES Cartridge Flask

This is, by far, the most creative flask on this list. The company Ink Whiskey makes flasks out of old NES cartridges and has been very successful with them so far. Especially for people who grew up with the original nintendo, this can be a nostalgic way to drink and conceal alcohol. To be honest, I feel like this flask is more for show than actual use (like the other ones on this list). Don’t get me wrong, it’s awesome to pour alcohol out of a NES cartridge, but I feel like it’s less practical.

In addition, each cartridge has a funny twist on the old NES games that relates to drinking. For example, the one I featured is “Super Bar-Hop Bros” making fun of Super Mario Bros. They also have Drunk Hunt, The Legend of Drink,  Tetriquila, and more. This can also quickly make it seem like something is up given the name, but I doubt anyone would search it thinking it contains alcohol.
